ProLact is a leading R&D company in Europe, actively colaborating with the University of Food Technology in Plovdiv, Bulgaria where scientists research and develop new probiotic products and technologies since the 70s of the XX century.

The probiotics were developed as part of the Intercosmos program during training and on space missions, as well as during military operations in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Kosovo and others. The probiotics were used during extreme missions, such as North Pole research missions. Their action in extreme conditions has been additionally confirmed during experimental studies in air force pilots and naval crews.

The probiotics have been clinically and experimentally tested at many healthcare facilities, including the Military Medical Academy, Czech Military Medical Service, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia Medical University and many others scientific and health organizations throughout the world.
